Norman began shooting highpower rifles competitively as a junior in 1981. By 1993, he had founded and was acting as president of the New England Shooter’s Association. He has organized and competed successfully in Highpower Rifle, Smallbore, IDPA, Bowling Pin, Practical Rifle/Pistol, and Three Gun matches throughout his career. Norman is an NRA certified highpower rifle and pistol instructor. His training and consultation services are sought out by civilians, rifle manufacturers, law enforcement agencies, and the military. Currently, Norman is working on developing and marketing his own product line. The line includes the “Houle Tube,” a sight extension tube that extends the shooter’s sight radius. Norman used the Houle Tube in all three of his National Champion title matches.
